The Seventh Day

YOUR ACCOUNT · YOUR CHOICE

Delete your account.

The Seventh Day supports permanent account deletion. You do not need to accept an updated policy to request deletion.

In the app

Sign in, open Settings, then Account Deletion. Review the consequences and confirm with your password. This uses the direct account-erasure service; an administrator does not need to approve it. Suspended accounts can still access their notice and deletion options.

If you cannot use the app

Email [email protected] with the subject “The Seventh Day account deletion request.” Include your account email and church, but never send your password, verification codes or identity documents. Support may ask you to verify control of the account before erasure. A support email is a request, not an immediate automatic deletion.

What deletion means

The service erases the live account and associated personal data, including profile media, authored posts/comments/messages and attachments, reading/study data, attendance, notification tokens, diagnostics and linked visitor records. Other people's contributions and neutral shared containers remain. Church-owned settings, bulletins, templates and approved public print content can remain for the church; contact support about personal details that require correction or removal there.

Operational backups are isolated. A minimal irreversible account-ID digest and deletion timestamp prevent an erased account from reappearing after restoration; that ledger contains no original content. Copies independently saved, emailed or printed by other people cannot be recalled. Read the Privacy Policy for the full data and retention explanation.

Deletion is permanent. Sign out or disable optional features instead if you only want a break.
