The Seventh Day Community Policy — effective October 21, 2026
By selecting Accept, you agree to follow this Community Policy. Self-registration requires acceptance of both policies. The Owner may provision an account, but it cannot use account features until its holder opens, reads and explicitly accepts both policies. Every existing account, including Admins and the Owner, must accept the current versions before continuing. Each policy response is recorded separately with its version, yes or no choice, and response time. An unanswered policy is recorded as not accepted, without claiming that the person declined. Material updates require renewed acceptance. You may decline, sign out, or delete your account without accepting a new policy.
Treat people respectfully. Do not post, upload, send, or place in your profile: harassment or bullying; hate or dehumanization based on protected characteristics; threats, encouragement of violence, or dangerous illegal activity; sexual or pornographic material; any child sexual exploitation or abuse material; graphic violence; another person's private information without consent; impersonation; scams, spam or malicious links; or material you lack permission to share. Respectful disagreement, including religious discussion, is not itself a violation. These rules cover profiles, posts, prayers, comments, messages, study discussions and attachments.
Community submissions publish without prior approval. Only content reported by a person or flagged by automated safety checks is added to the review queue. Report a post using its … menu. Report an account with Report Profile at the bottom of its profile. Reporting is confidential to the review team. Reported or flagged content may be temporarily unavailable while an Admin or Owner reviews it. Block an account to hide its content and prevent contact in both directions; manage blocks in Safety & Policies. Blocking does not itself penalize the other account.
ADMINS and the OWNER review reports and queued content. Reviewers assess the actual content, context, credible evidence, severity, impact and prior confirmed violations. Reports of prohibited content qualify for review; disagreement or the number of reports alone does not establish a violation. Reviewers record a reason and either dismiss the report, remove violating content, issue a warning/strike, suspend the account, or terminate access. The reported person is told the outcome without identifying the reporter. Knowingly abusive reporting may itself be reviewed.
We aim to review reports within 24 hours, prioritizing threats, exploitation and other urgent harm. This is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services when someone faces immediate danger. Content held during an active review remains unavailable until a reviewer decides it. Only confirmed violations count as strikes: a first minor violation normally receives removal and a warning; a second may receive a 7-day suspension; a third may result in termination. Severe violations can result in immediate suspension or termination without prior strikes. Reviewers may choose a lesser or stronger response with a documented reason. Admins cannot change the Owner's access or discipline other Admins; the Owner handles those account actions. A reviewer must not decide a report about themselves.
Suspended people can still sign in to view their account notice and delete their account. Termination permanently deletes the account and its personal data, including the review history about that person; it cannot be undone. Reviewers must confirm this consequence and should use suspension while investigation or an appeal is pending. An appeal may be sent to [email protected] within 30 days; include the decision and why it should be reconsidered. The Owner or an uninvolved Admin reviews appeals where possible. Do not retaliate against reporters. An appeal after termination cannot restore erased data; contact support about eligibility to create a new account. Account holders may permanently delete their account and associated data from Account Deletion without moderator approval.
Church administrators may upload church artwork only when they have permission to use it. Reusable bulletin layouts are for section headings and slot labels; review them before saving so another person's private information is not reused accidentally. Do not include members-only announcements, private prayer requests or unapproved personal contacts in a publicly distributed bulletin. Only contacts and notices explicitly approved for public printing should appear in a booklet. Review every PDF before emailing or mass printing it. Independently shared or printed copies cannot be recalled by deleting the original in the app.
The Seventh Day is a Christian-community product name, not a claim of ownership by or endorsement from a denomination. A congregation retains its actual identity, local content and administrative responsibility. The current church account service is administered for Onalaska Seventh-day Adventist Church; additional church activation is not yet available. Contact: [email protected].
